If you are going to make it exactly as posted, cut the vertical and horizontal bands to the length shown in the diagram on the page labeled “Bottom knitting pattern.” Then knit the vertical and horizontal bands as shown in the diagram. Next, fold it at the black frame shown as the bottom line, and knit the sides.
In the post, an 8mm wide band was used. If you print it out so that the scale shown on the knitting pattern is the same size, 1cm, you can use it as a pattern.
